The [rain](http://www.kgw.com/news-local/stories/kgw_010606_news_flooding_weather.4f71ce89.html) keeps coming with almost an inch more today in Hillsboro, but in the breaks we did at least get some sunshine. Donna and I took the opportunity to get out to [Cannon Beach](http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=cannon+beach+oregon&btnG=Search&ll=45.881944,-123.963056&spn=0.083052,0.20874) to walk Becky and snap some great [photographs](/photography/cannon_beach/). The sandy beach is dominated by Haystack Rock, probably one of the most photographed natural sites in Oregon - so who am I to break with tradition :-)
